Don Hummel - Founder / Owner
As a sophomore at Thousand Oaks High, graduating in 1994, I began my working life, cleaning pools for a family member in the San Fernando valley. Every day learning what it meant to be hard working, have integrity and ensure my customers were happy and proud to have me as their pool man. As a young man, learning how to conduct business, I tried my hand in the corporate world, working my way up from a production position, through the ranks to a sales and management position for a local computer hardware manufacturer.
That is where I learned proper business etiquette, how to treat a customer and how to make the customers’ expectations the reality they expect to pay for. In 2005, I made the jump to self-employment and the pool industry, establishing WaterworX and never looking back. Nearly 20 years since its inception, I have had the wonderful opportunity to develop a company where my customers can have faith and trust that they are receiving the highest value and care for their backyard investment. Your home and backyard are looked after with care and integrity as if it were my own. For myself and each and every member of our staff, you are as important to us as our own families, and we will always treat you as such.
